My day was quite interesting. I got to learn about small scale manufacturing, leasoning for multiple engineering companies. He showed me how the company he works for is organized and what everyone does. I found it really fun to be able to mess around with some circuits. I got to go and see a quantum computer that should be running in a few years. I also got to see there server management, I found it really cool to see how this company work and it taught me that I would not like something like that.
- How do you interact with other people during your work day?
- To what extent do you find your work interesting and fulfilling and why?
- Is this a typical work day for you? If not, what is a typical work day?
- What advice do you have to young people who are interested in this profession/field?
What advice would you give about going to college.
He gave advice on choosing a college that would either specializes in what you want to do but it would not create a name for yourself in that industry. Or you could go to a school that is well know but not as specialized in that field but would let you get your name in anywhere.
